Steve Huzar, president and founder of North Shore, boasts more than 21 years in the trucking industry. Whether down in the day-to-day trenches or overseeing from a management point of view, Steve has experienced about every conceivable area of domestic and international ground transportation, including driving trucks. Steve’s focus on the flatbed and specialized transportation business started ten years ago when he recognized the need in the Midwest for a 3PL that catered strictly to the transportation of steel, building and automotive related materials.

Bill Welsh, partner North Shore Transportation, has been in the trucking business more than 30 years, with 25 of those years specializing in moving household goods for people who were relocating. Bill consistently achieved a rating within the top 10% of drivers for on-time delivery, damaged goods and customer service. As an owner of BSP Express, an Ohio-based flatbed carrier, Bill also has experience running a successful trucking company. Bill’s commitment to customer service and doing whatever it takes to beat the competition and get the job done are qualities that set him apart from anyone else in the industry.
