North Shore Transportation
Even though North Shore’s Transportation division recently launched operations in June 2009, the team has more than 50 years of industry experience. The new division, created to compliment our Logistics business, was designed specifically to meet the needs of our clients who don’t necessarily want to work with a company that is strictly a non asset-based firm.
Our growing fleet is a combination of company trucks and owner operators to serve the entire country. We aim to manage freight efficiently by pairing the same driver (or drivers) with repeat loads for both frequency and familiarity benefits.
North Shore Transportation also caters to flatbed and specialized equipment shipments by utilizing 48’ and 53’ trailers that are fully equipped with tarps, chains, binders, straps and coil racks. Although, we’re not limited to transporting building materials, in fact we’ve developed a niche in the entertainment industry delivering materials for event productions.
